Online individual therapy in Oregon

For autistic and ADHD adults navigating burnout, masking, late identification, and the exhausting work of trying to keep up. Practical, affirming therapy that works with your brain, not against it.

You’re not broken, you’re human.

You deserve care that sees all of you.

Maybe you've spent years feeling misunderstood, trying to keep up, or wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else feel so exhausting for you. Maybe you've been told you're too sensitive, too much, not trying hard enough, or that you just need better coping skills. Maybe therapy itself has left you feeling like another problem that needs fixing.

You are a whole person, not a collection of symptoms.

My approach to therapy is human first. That means curiosity instead of judgment, collaboration instead of being talked at, and practical support without trying to change who you are. We'll make sense of your experiences, explore what's no longer working, and build tools that support the life you actually want to live.

You don't have to become someone else to deserve support.

What working together actually looks like.

I'm not a sit-back-and-nod therapist. I'll ask questions, share what I'm noticing, offer education, and help us figure out what to try next. Sometimes we'll laugh. Sometimes we'll challenge old assumptions. And sometimes we'll play a little Scooby-Doo to figure out why something isn't working.

Our sessions are tailored to your needs, capacity, and goals. You'll have room to process what matters, but we'll also work toward leaving you feeling supported, with a clearer understanding of what's happening and what to do next.

1. Get Curious & Connect the Dots

In our first few sessions, we'll explore your history, relationships, and what brought you to therapy. I'll weave in education about ADHD, autism, burnout, and relevant patterns as we go.

We'll connect your experiences to what's happening now and identify where support could make a difference.

The goal is understanding, not finding what's wrong with you.

3. Play Scooby-Doo

Here's where we investigate. What happened when you tried something new? What helped? What got in the way?

We'll look for clues, test our assumptions, and adjust the plan. Sometimes a strategy needs tweaking. Sometimes the environment or expectations need to change.

No shame. No failed homework. Just useful information.

2. Build Something That Fits

Together, we'll experiment with practical tools: executive functioning supports, routines, boundaries, communication skills, or ways to unmask safely.

I'll offer suggestions and feedback, but we'll choose what to try based on your goals, energy, and real-life circumstances.

We're not building a perfect system. We're building one that works for you.

4. Keep What Works

As things shift, we'll look at what's sustainable, what still needs support, and how to use what you've learned outside of therapy.

We'll review your progress, adjust your tools, and plan for handling challenges with more confidence and independence.

Our work has direction, not a deadline. The goal is for you to need me less, not forever.

Who this is for

You might look like you have it all together. But keeping it together is exhausting.

Individual therapy at Inner Rising may be a good fit if you:

  • Are successful on paper but burned out in real life. You're juggling a demanding career, business, or responsibilities while running on empty.

  • Are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or late-identified. You're navigating masking, executive functioning, burnout, or figuring out who you are.

  • Are tired of therapy that goes nowhere. You want honest feedback, practical tools, and a therapist who actively participates.

  • Want LGBTQ+ affirming care. You're queer, trans, nonbinary, polyamorous, or exploring your identity and relationships without wanting to explain or defend them.

  • Prefer private-pay therapy. You're ready to invest in specialized care and value keeping therapy outside oppressive insurance systems.

You don't have to wait until everything falls apart to get support.

Therapy Intensives

Think of traditional therapy like watching one episode a week. An intensive is more like binge-watching the season—you have time to connect the dots without waiting another week to pick up where you left off.

My 3- or 4-hour therapy intensives offer concentrated, personalized support for individuals, couples, partners, and polycules, including LGBTQ+, trans, and neurodivergent folks.

Whether you're navigating burnout, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or patterns that keep you stuck, we'll tailor the time to your needs, goals, and capacity.

Less stopping and starting. More time to understand, process, and practice.
